I’m a normal girl. Sometimes I wake up early just to get lost in thought. I go to work, juggle college, and, for the past year, I’ve been releasing music. I consider myself more of a producer. I enjoy creating arrangements and experimenting with sounds.
In the pandemic, I started making music on GarageBand on my phone. At first, it was just me experimenting with music production. Now, I’ve come a long way and I release my songs on every platform for anyone to hear, and that’s pretty cool. 200cc MK Freestyle and Feathers In (Love is All Around), I produced it on GarageBand, when I had an iPhone 6s back then. I finished the songs on the computer, recorded the vocals with a simple microphone and somehow it worked. I still use GarageBand and see the potential in it. It’s the simplicity of it.
A long time ago, I learned some web design coding and I’ve always wanted to host a website made from scratch, so I created this one to show my music. And now I’m updating this blog section, which is more personal.
I love Neocities because of how personal it feels. I’m from 2002, but I’ve had the privilege of experiencing the web in the 2000s… everything just felt different. Everyone had their websites and every website was a world with itself. And to create this space and share it with others just feels magical.
For the past few months, ever since my last post on this blog, I’ve been learning the guitar. And I’m focusing right now on releasing a new guitar demo. I created the arrangement and the melody while I was visiting my brother, a few months ago. He has an acoustic guitar, which helped create something out of the very few knowledge that I had. The results were rough drafts of Fire and this new song, but I finished Fire first. I'm assembling the building blocks.
