For the past few months I've been brainstorming. This single has been a lengthy brainstorm. It was actually supposed to be one song, but the elements in it kept changing and growing, so I took another path.
I kept retouching the tracks over and over again. I look back at it now and, yeah, every single hour was worth it. I was perfecting my craft. But I needed to let go. I should perfect my craft over time, along with other songs, not with just one song.
So now I can finally say: I did it.
Exactly 6 months after my past release, I'm back with a new single! Side A is "xy" and Side B is "km 0". Get ready to ride this adventure with me.
The album cover is a photo I took of a butterfly that was in metamorphosis for some weeks on a wall of my backyard. I always saw the caterpillar cocoon there and one morning I was lucky enough to see the caterpillar turn into a butterfly. I took some pictures while it was still. The butterfly was there for a few hours, waiting for its wings to dry. Then, it flew away, nowhere to be seen.
The lyrics talk about change, so I thought a picture of this experience could make it on the album cover.
